Jason...and then there was inspiration...
Jason F. Daly is the son of rabbits. Real, mixamatosis ridden, mangy (not fluffy!) rabbits. Now that is not meant to slate Jason's parents or nothing… its just the way it is. He is a country boy, or so he is told, with four siblings. Two male and two female, they are very important to him. Family drives Jason as much as music… as much as he does his car.
Jason plays the guitar all the time, and sings a hell of a lot too; he started at the age of fourteen. Oh yeah, nearly forgot, he was born on the 19 th of July 1980.
After reaching international stardom as a conga player with a Latin-American band, called ‘the Latin-American band', Jason decided to step out from behind the conga stand and is now playing with Smiling Machine.
“I love writing songs…. it is the only thing that really challenges me as a person”. Ok. Ok. Ok. Jason is an emotional young man who believes that life on the planet is all there is, so ‘holding back' and all that it entails just isn't worth it.
